Welcome to 2013! As a wise man once told me, Hoover dam was not built in a year. Expect 2013 to be tough! The ‘honeymoon’ period of new ideas, structure, and success is over. Now we all have buckle down and improve what was new and fresh last year.

This is a difficult time of year. Playoffs don’t start for another 5-6 weeks. In that time we have to stay sharp, and stay fit. Attendance at practices is more important than ever.

First the bad news, Saranac is cancelled. Could not re-schedule our league game and our first commitment has to be to our league.
Our main goal in June was to up our intensity and emotional level of play. This was accomplished, good job. We need to continue this!

We are building Hoover Dam one step at a time. We are getting better every game. That is a good sign. What we, as an entire club, learned in May is that we have to up our intensity and emotional level of play to compete. Now we have to work on our decision making skills.
